Welcome to Finn Creek Open Air Museum
Finn Creek Open Air Museum is an 18-acre interpretive site, devoted to preserving the heritage of the Finnish Culture and those people who immigrated to the area in the early 1900's. We are located 6 miles SE of New York Mills, Minnesota.
Finn Creek Open Air Museum is open throughout the summer and it features a 1900 original farmstead, Savu smoke sauna, log barns, a sawmill, and its own gift shop. The Museum also hosts the Finn Creek Festival during the last weekend of August. It is an annual celebration that features entertainment, demonstrations, and food. AdmissionThere is no admission charge to visit the Museum but we do rely on donations to help cover expenses. A suggested donation of $6.00 for adults and $1.00 for children 6 to 12 for the Summer Festival, subject to change!

Finn Creek Museum is a non-profit corporation run totally by volunteers. Volunteers are always welcomed to join us.
